Are you or someone you know experiencing signs of hearing loss? Detecting this condition can be challenging since it often develops gradually, leaving individuals unaware of the changes. uHear™ introduces a screening tool that allows you to assess your hearing status to identify potential hearing impairments.

uHear enables you to evaluate your hearing in less than five minutes by taking one or all three simple tests:

<ol>
<li>Hearing Sensitivity assesses if your hearing falls within the normal range.</li>
<li>Speech in Noise measures your ability to comprehend speech in noisy settings.</li>
<li>Questionnaire presents a series of inquiries about your hearing in common listening scenarios.</li>
</ol>

It's essential to highlight that uHear is not designed to replace the comprehensive testing provided by a professional hearing healthcare provider. If you suspect hearing loss, it's advisable to seek guidance from a qualified specialist.

Developed by Donald Hayes, Ph.D., Director of Clinical Research for Unitron, uHear is a helpful tool for initial hearing screenings. Remember, results obtained from the tone test should not substitute a proper hearing examination overseen by a trained professional in a controlled environment.

Please be informed that architectural adjustments were necessary when migrating uHear to the new operating system. Consequently, saved test results from uHear 1.0 cannot be displayed in uHear 2.0. uHear is meant as a quick screening tool to prompt further evaluation by a qualified hearing healthcare provider. The outcomes of the tone test are not a substitute for an official hearing assessment conducted by a trained professional in a controlled setting.
